Well, we (the SiteOrganic Travel Team - Brad Hill, Megan Clarke, Elliott Munoz and I) arrived in Orlando bright and early Saturday morning. Our flight and airport experience was fine, especially since that these days can be a bit of a problem (i.e. JetBlue). After finding the right convention building we had some difficulty navigating our way through another convention called MegaCon. Needless to say, we ran across some interesting people as many were dressed as their favorite comic book, movie, or anime character. We saw a Princess Lea, Darth Vader, Spider Man, Robin, and many more. Once making it to the right hall all of our booth gear was in the right place at the right time which made setting up quite easy. We've had issues in the past with late deliveries and things like that.
After setting up, we had a some relaxation time in our rooms then it was off to dinner. We had a very nice dinner at Maggiano's which I highly recommend; you won't go home hungry. Dinner was a nice time to get to know some of the speakers Brad Hill put together for some of the side sessions. I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Reynolds (Webmaster at Chuck Swindoll's Church) and Brad Abare of Church Marketing Sucks fame. Both are very down to earth guys who REALLY know what they are talking about.
I'll try to keep posting from NRB as I have time to let all of you know how things go. The next 3 days promise to be quite busy.
