Jeannie and I went to a "revival" service tonight at Pender UMC. The speaker, Dr. Jim Buskirk was quite good and he had an interesting analogy for Sacntifying Grace. First he called Sanctifying Grace "Continuing Grace" or as he ultimately put it:
"God doesn't clean his fish until he catches them."
