Actually I did.
We have been negotiating for several days on a contract. It isn't exactly what we want so we have countered several times and the other party has countered back. Our realtor has been on vacation for a few days and is due back tomorrow. Fortunately, she was able to buy us some time on the latest counter offer until she gets back. We did have another open house today and had quite a few groups through. That has been another saving grace to know that other people are interested too. One of the groups stayed for 45 minutes and appeared to be interested. We will hopefully find out if they are interested in writing a contract tomorrow.
Update on the new house is that we are currently scheduled to break ground on March 3rd. I know what you are thinking....if we sell our current house now, and the new one isn't ready until May or June, what are you going to do? Well, God has blessed us in wonderful ways. A friend from church is moving and they needed to leave their lease on a townhouse early. We called the landlord and they are willing to do a short term lease for us until the new house is done. This also means we won't need to store our most or all of our belongings - YEAH GOD! - but we will have to move twice.
